Hypnosis

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention.  Your hypnotist will assist you in learning how to achieve this state by being your facilitator and guide.  Once this has been achieved, you will then receive what are called hypnotic suggestions.  These suggestions will enable you to make the changes in your life that you desire.  Hypnosis and self-hypnosis have been shown to be helpful in reducing stress and stress related issues.  Hypnosis has been used by the medical community since 1958.

Hypnotists do not diagnose clients.  They help clients do goal setting.

I treat normal everyday problems, for normal everyday people.

Is Hypnosis Safe?

Hypnosis is safe.  It is similar to experiencing a day dream.  Usually you will feel relaxed and it is a very pleasant experience.  Scientists, medical professionals, psychologists, criminologists, and hypnotherapists have been using hypnosis for over 200 years.  No one has ever been hurt by simply being hypnotized by a professional.

Can I be Hypnotized?

Anyone of normal intelligence who can follow instructions can experience hypnosis.  It’s easy.  For example, normal everyday hypnosis can occur when you are driving down the road and you lose track of time.  Or, you are focusing on a television program and don’t notice something someone says.  Moreover, you may simply daydream.  These are examples of everyday hypnosis.
